My Interest in Social Impact
Cornell University · 2020 - 2021 · Masters in Information Science, focus in user experience
The design issue that I am most passionate about solving for are those related to social impact like inclusivity, sustainability and environmental factors. These issues are classified as 'wicked problems' meaning that they are difficult or impossible to solve— and the best solution does not yet exist due to their complexity.
Villa Aurora College, Italy · Fall 2017 · Exchange Semester
Andrews University · 2015 - 2019 · Bachelors in Graphic design
Cornell Social Media Lab · Research Assistant · Aug 2020- present · Ithaca, NY
I currently approach these issues by breaking down larger problems into smaller parts, involving stakeholders with participatory design activities and using an agile approach to reiterate / test solution.
Nexient · UX Researcher ·Aug 2019-April 2020· Remote
AdventHealth · UX Design Intern ·  Summer 2017 · Orlando, FL
Pawnguru · Content Strategy Intern · Summer 2019 ·  Ann Arbor, MI
I strongly believe that we as designers and researchers  have a responsibility to generate the best solution possible even when considering wicked problems' impossible nature.
Cornell Lab of Future Learning Research Assistant · Aug 2020- Dec 2020· Ithaca, NY
